Karyn was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder at age 14 along with C-PTSD and Anxiety at age 23. Her advocacy style focuses on empowerment and crisis prevention. In January 2022, she launched Trauma Tree: a website dedicated to identifying safe, accessible & inclusive spaces for anyone living with symptoms of mental health disorders, chronic pain and chronic illness.
