    Joining me on this episode is my guest Yu Chak Sunny Ho, Ph.D. (he/him) is a licensed psychologist and social justice advocate in Seattle, WA. He's mainly working with AAPI-identified individuals, international students, and immigrant population at Interconnections Healing Center, a group private practice in Seattle. He's also an adjunct faculty at the Seattle Pacific University. He's the founder of the Division on International Students and Professionals in Asian American Psychological Association and is heavily involved in American Psychological Association Division 17 (Counseling Psychology) International Section. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa's Counseling Psychology Program, and was an international student from Hong Kong.

Kevin graduated with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University, and he spent three and a half years working at Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network as an in-home therapist, case manager, crisis evaluator and outpatient therapist for Child and Family Services. Kevin has also worked part-time for The Bridge House, ADMHN's Acute Treatment Unit, as a Mental Health Technician and Counselor.
    In 2014, Kevin opened his private practice, Petersen Family Counseling and has since published two books: Chronic Hope: Parenting the Addicted Child and Chronic Hope: Families & Addiction, which share an integrated, holistic approach to healing families in crisis due to addiction and codependency.
    Kevin established The Chronic Hope Institute in 2020 with a mission to increase education on addiction and its impact on the family system

Times, and international news channels. Davina shared the stage with comedian Margaret Cho, civil rights leader Dolores Huerta, and celebrities Cloris Leachman, Dustin Lance Black, and Armistead Maupin. Dr. Davina received numerous awards for marriage equality leadership including; the Saints Alive Award and San Francisco LGBT Pride Community Grand Marshal.
    Dr. Davina began her career as a psychologist in a federal prison, leading empowerment workshops with female inmates, introducing them to the teachings of Thich (tick) Nhat Hahn, Napoleon Hill, and Tony Robbins. She is passionate about helping people feel empowered, grow spiritually and live their authentic lives.
